PARROQUIA DE SAN MIGUEL ARCANGEL

You may recognize the Parroquia as the heart of San Miguel de Allende. It has a Neo-Gothic façade with two tall towers that can be seen from most parts of town. This beautiful church was built in the 17th Century and stands in the middle of town across from the city's center, also known as El Jardin.

The colorful and picturesque streets project the rustic and colonial culture that San Miguel is known for. Look to the highest point and your likely to see La Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel. Be sure to visit this beautiful church and sit in the Jardín Principal opposite of Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel where there's always something happening.

PARQUE JUAREZ

Parque Juárez—also called the French Park—is the largest green space within San Miguel's city center. It's got fountains, winding paths, basketball courts, and public classes in tai chi, yoga, and zumba. It's quiet, peaceful and safe. Just above the park is Chorro, a steep winding street that runs past a row of public washing basins that are still being used. The spring (chorro) that originally fed the basins was found when San Miguel was first established.

La Santisima Trinidad Vineyard

About a 20 minute taxi ride outside of San Miguel but once you’re there, you feel like you’re in Tuscany. The entrance is a whole road of huge cypress trees and they have ginormous agave and cacti everywhere. They grow lavender, grapes, and olive trees on the property and you can buy different stuff in their gift shop. The best part though is their restaurant, which has the freshest pastas. They have a chalkboard of different pastas that they change everyday - delicious. You eat outside looking out over a lake.
